Totally lucked out with 6 honourable mentions in The Best Family Photographer Awards 2023, in addition to winning a Top 10 Best Family Photographer Award in the Documentary category.

As photographers we work in isolation most of the time, so it means a lot to receive a bit of peer review and validation to know you’re on the right track. Really happy that some of these are from my ongoing perspectives of motherhood series.

Saving Futures

During a recent trip to South Africa in May 2023, I had the opportunity to work with an incredible organization called Saving Futures, which is the outreach program of the Upper Highway Baby Home. The outreach team consists of Kerry, Gary, and Thobile, who are working to address the root causes of baby abandonment, growth stunting, school dropouts, and violence against women and children.
