A beautiful and charming summer wedding in London that started with the registry at Chelsea Old Town Hall followed by a reception at Aragon House overlooking Parsons Green. It was an absolute treasure to be a part of a wedding which was a fusion of Chinese and Iranian wedding traditions. I loved witnessing the sugar rubbing ceremony under a stretch of lace held by the brides’ aunts, and the Sofreh Aghd or Persian Wedding Table. Each object on the wedding table is carefully selected for its symbolism to bless and honour the marriage. It was a gorgeous summer evening that ended under a balmy, inky London mid-summer sky.
