Quintessential English Garden Wedding in Reigate

So pleased to finally share a few photographs from a recent English country garden wedding in Reigate. The wedding day had a joyful festival vibe. Set in the couple’s family garden, a marquee nestled into corn coloured fields overlooking a lake and sweeping Surrey countryside. It was a dream wedding to be a part of and photograph.

Festival flags and fairy lights twinkled between the small city of bell tents. In spite of the torrential rain, spirits were not dampened. Instead it had the opposite effect of drawing people closer. During the ceremony, thunder rumbled at appropriate intervals, and rain shimmied across the tent like a rainmaker singing blessings.

All the details were so thoughtful and personal; from the floral stained glass table decorations (handmade by the mother-of-the-groom, cleverly doubling as gifts for the guests to take home), to the sprinkling of sweets and games designed to keep inquisitive people, big and small, busy and entertained throughout the day.

Festival glitter decorated the guests faces as the live band of electric merry friends set the dance floor on fire and rolled the party into the small hours of the morning. A true celebration of life, love, family and friendship.
