I find it helps on the day of the shoot if I know a little bit about what you like, what you don't like, and what your expectations for the shoot are.

Have you ever had a family photography shoot before?

Did you enjoy the experience?

If not, what did you not enjoy?

How important is it to you that everyone is looking and smiling at the camera at the same time?

Do you like your portraits to be very posed and formal, or are you happy to have relaxed informal portraits, where perhaps not everyone is looking at the camera and smiling at the same time?

Is it very important to you that your children look super neat and tidy at all times?

Are these images for a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary or Christmas?

Are you planing to have your images up on the wall at home?

What does your family enjoy and love doing together? Is there any time that you spend together and would love to document and record? (For example: trips to the local park, playing in the garden, baking at home, everyday bed and bath routines etc)

Have you seen any images that you absolutely LOVE and would like to replicate in your shoot? If you do please e-mail me a copy, or attach a link here to your favourite images. Please can you tell me in a few words what it is you love about the image. (For example, is it the light, the connection, the colours that you love etc)

Do you and/or your children suffer from any serious allergies, asthma, or hay fever? If yes to any of these please can you elaborate. Please be sure to bringing relevant medication (asthma pumps, antihistamines etc) to the photoshoot with you.
